Discover Scuba Diving
The beginning of a passion
A discover scuba dive is a perfect opportunity to get to know scuba diving during a "trial dive". In this way you can gather your first experience with the diving equipment and you get a feeling for what it is like to breathe underwater. We take you with us into the wonderful underwater world of the Red Sea and promise you a unique experience in the midst of a variety of fish and corals.
One or two discover scuba dives? It’s your choice!
Version 1
- A guided introductory dive on our house reef at a maximum depth of 10 m. The house reef is located in the immediate vicinity of the Arabella Azur Resort.
- Issue of equipment and completion of formalities on the day before
- Meet in the morning at the dive center
- We give you a detailed dive briefing, help you to put on your diving equipment and dive with you into your first underwater experience.
- The discover scuba dive itself is limited to max. 10 m and takes approximately 20 - 30 minutes.
- Return to the diving center around 11:00 am
Version 2
- Two guided discover scuba dives during a day trip on one of our own ships.
- Issue of equipment and completion of formalities on the day before
- Meet in the morning at the dive center
- departure by boat at 8:30 am
- We will give you a detailed dive briefing, help you to get dressed and dive with you into the wonderful underwater world full of fish and colourful coral reefs. If you like the first dive, you can spontaneously decide to do a second dive. We choose the dive sites in the morning on the boat, as this is mostly dependent on wind and weather.
- Return to the diving center around 4:00 pm
General Information
- The implementation of both possibilities of our discover scuba dives depends on the availability of a diving instructor and can therefore only be planned on site. So just stop by our dive center on your arrival and we will discuss everything else.
- You should be healthy. In our download area we have deposited a health questionnaire ("Diving examination form"). Interesting here are only current illnesses and not things that happened years ago.
- You're in another hotel? No problem! With our pick-up link you can make an appointment for a meeting or you just take a taxi and come by spontaneously. But please note our opening hours.
